Join us for an interest dinner on Sunday, February 16 from 5-7p where you can come and eat dinner, meet new friends, and learn about joining a new Life Group this Spring that will be studying the person and teachings of Jesus in the Gospel of Mark.
After night one, you can decide if you want to continue. This study is designed to let you explore who Jesus is, what he did and taught, and how it applies to our lives today. You will get a chance to read the Bible for yourself and learn how to get more out of it. You will also spend the semester making new friends in your group as you share your questions and hear their reflections. It is a low-key, low-maintenance study that will have a big impact on how you understand Jesus, yourself, and what God may be doing in your life.
There will be childcare provided for the kickoff dinner through Funday School. Although the kickoff is on Sunday, the group meeting times and days vary, depending on what is best for the people in your individual group. The kickoff will start under the tent where you will get a plate of food, then we'll move into the Small Conference Room for a short talk about the study and group discussion. The Mark Study Suide costs $20 and there will be optional journaling Bibles to buy for $30 if you would like a Bible to make notes. If you decide you want to continue with a group, you can bring a check or cash to the kickoff dinner to pay for the Mark Study Guide. The registration below just lets us know you plan to attend so we can have enough food.
